The 9th annual QuakeCon video game festival and tournament to be held at Texas from August 12 to 15 is free of charge annual 24-hour-a-day gaming event of North America that promises entertainment, action, and activities.

The venue has the capacity to acoomodate 3,000 gamers and follows the concapt of "Bring Your Own Computer" (BYOC). Other than gaming the four day event will also stage contests, workshops, hardware and software demos/exhibits, give-aways, loud parties and white-knuckle tournament action.
